The First Divine Man.

Today, my fellow Americans, is a day for tears. Tears of pride in joy in seeing our country show true growth and watch history unfold itself before our very own eyes.

Today, Obama was elected president.

Never in my 21 years of life [to some that may be short, but for me, a lifetime] have I felt such passion for politics. Anxiety grew beneath my skin as the votes rolled in and I can truly say that I have been waiting to cast this vote, my vote to make a change, for over 365 days.

In a time where society is uneasy, the economy so weak, we need a strong being to help wrap his arms around the problems, hold us together, and guide us to a better tomorrow.

In honor of this amazing day of history, I will pray. Pray that God will keep Mr. Obama strong and safe, pray that this is the end of the crisis our country was becoming, and thank God for sending such a blessing to us, because that is what Mr. Obama is, a blessing.

Thank you to those who kept me at ease when my anxiety was taking over...thank you to the lady who hugged Kim as she cried tears of joy, telling her that "this is what it is all about", you left a footprint in her heart forever...thank you to all of those who voted, to make this happen...thank you to those who did not, but are still going to appreciate the fact that history was made, and will continue to be made in Mr. Obama' s presence...thank you to Mr. Obama for being strong, holding on to the battle and overcoming any obstacles that may have been thrown at him along the journey...and thank you to God, for making this possible.

God bless.

Goodnight.

11/04/2008. History.

P.S. Kim told me the following: Obama won with 333 electoral votes. The number 333 means "the first divine man".

Imagine that.
