Most recently, I have learned a different kind of appreciation. Appreciation of letting things take their own course and being patient enough to just let them happen. God has blessed me with the presence of a wonderful young man who is awakening my soul in a completely different form than I have ever felt before...
Every smile of his touches my heart, every conversation full of passion. His mannerism is incredible and his aura is unlike any other. Most of the time when you fall in love, you don't know why, it just kind of happens. This was definitely how I felt at first but now I think I see it all clearly.
Falling in love is beautiful. It starts with the kisses, kind words, sweet surprises and holding hands. But this young man, this young man is way more than all of that. Every single time he speaks I truly am intrigued and I'm at a loss for words. Maybe its the passion he puts into everything he talks about. Maybe its how well educated he is. Maybe its the fact that everytime we have a conversation I learn something that I never knew before. Or maybe its just him.
His drive keeps me motivated and re-assures me that anything is possible. I know that he is going to be a very successful man and when he gets there, I hope to be at his side, cheering and celebrating his victory...
I love the fact that he doesn't want to rush things. In my past I have been very pushy and I'm guilty of trying to make life run a lot faster than necessary. Being his "gal pal" [haha] has really taught me to be patient and just leave everything in God's hands.
He has allowed me to grow as a person and for that I will always be greatful. God has a time and a place for everything and when the time is right, I'm sure that we will make an amazing team.
Baby, I love you.
"Love is patient, love is kind.It does not envy.Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude;It is not self-seeking, nor easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongdoing. It does not delight in evil,But rejoices in the truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes, and preserves. There is nothing love cannot face; There is no limit to its faith, hope, and endurance. In a word, there are three things that last forever:Faith, hope, and love; But the greatest of them all is love."
